Kelley McIlvaine graduated from University of Virginia in 2007 with a double major in Commerce and Art History. After college, she worked for two years as a Teach For America Corps Member in inner city Atlanta. During the summer of 2008 she spent 3 months in Tanzania doing HIV/AIDS awareness work, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She worked as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology for 1.5 years while she completed her post baccalaureate studies at Agnes Scott College, finishing with a 4.0. She was awarded a Dean’s Competitive Scholarship to attend University of Texas Southwestern, where she graduated with honors.
Kelley is a member of Alpha Eta Society, a fellow of Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants, and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Kelley lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband, Andy.
